Prayer of July 6, 2001

I pray to Thee, Mother, that in this life I may truly and fully belong to Thee. And my prayer is that the mind, vital and physical understand that these are not merely words of aspiration but the commitment of my soul and therefore all the parts of my being should accept the finality of the soul's decision.

Help me, Mother to remember Thee in the rush of events that flow over us and to focus the consciousness on the flame Thou hast lit, to remember and offer ever in gratitude for Thy endless Grace.

There are thousands of forces tugging at our minds, distracting and attracting our consciousness toward petty things that pull us away from our core concern, the Presence within. Grant, O Lord, that I may learn to concentrate always on Thee even in the midst of the whirlwind as in the silence and the calm.
